David F. Ryan retired from the active practice of law in New York City at the end of 2006. His practice had focused on patent and competition law, and he is a recognized expert on the patent-antitrust interface who remains active in writing, consulting, lecturing, and bar association work. He currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Amicus Briefs Committee of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association (NYIPLA).
